How it all started...
2019
✺ We first met at the entrance of the Balaton Sound Festival in Hungary.
At the time, Manon had been working in tourism since 2015 and was living in a new place every six to eight months. Meanwhile, Robin was working
as a CrossFit coach and personal trainer.
✺ After dating for three months, Manon made the decision to move in with Robin. What could go wrong right? We moved to a beautiful house in the historical center of Gent, Belgium. Manon started a job as a project manager and Robin continued working on his personal coaching business.
✺ Manon found it struggled adapting to the fast city life. So we decided to booked a two-week holiday to Morocco to take a break from the rat race. Guess what happened next... Morocco
closed its borders, unable to return home, we ended up staying in Morocco for six months.
Robin started coaching clients online. His online business boomed!
Long story short, after getting stuck in Morocco for so long and finally returning home, we found it difficult to readjust to life in Belgium.
2020
✺ We quit our jobs, moved out of our apartment and started traveling again.
It was one of the most stressful periods of our lives.
Quitting our jobs in the middle of a pandemic felt like a crazy decision, but we are so happy we did it!
✺ We packed our bags and started traveling,
and it taught us so many lessons.
We met amazing people, discovered different cultures and languages, and learned how to take care of ourselves in different countries while working abroad and getting to know people.
✺During our travels, we had the opportunity to meet a lot of digital nomads. These are people
who can work from anywhere, as long as they
have a WiFi connection.
2021
✺ After living and working a whole summer in Greece, we arrived in Madeira in November. As soon as we arrived, we knew we wanted to stay. We both fell in love with this tropical island in the Atlantic Ocean.
✺ We soon realized that Madeira is a perfect destination for people who want to work online or in a different environment, join outdoor activities and get inspiration for their projects.
The island is surrounded by beautiful nature, has infinite hiking trails, and is so close to the ocean. Mountains and sea, what more could you want?!
